Choose a dinosaur adventure
Look through the pictures together and follow the child's interest. The standing dinosaur, hatching egg and simple long-necked character have plenty of open space. Rivers, nests and flower meadows add a few background objects. The jungle, canyon and valley have more small areas for children who enjoy a longer coloring session. These are playful fantasy illustrations rather than scientific diagrams. Their characters and landscapes are invitations to invent a story.
Make the colors your own
A green dinosaur can be fun, and so can a blue one with orange plates. Pick two or three colors to begin, then add more if your child wants. Crayons work well in the broad bodies; pencils can reach the leaves and rocky corners. Ask where the dinosaur is walking or what might be inside the egg. Coloring only one character is also a complete activity. Keep spare paper under markers and leave unfinished details for another day.
Print a page that fits
Choose the A4 or US Letter PDF to match your paper. Use actual size or 100% in black-and-white mode. White margins surround each design. If your printer clips an edge, select fit to printable area. Download the PNG when you need a separate image file.
